About Us
Martin Auction is a family-owned business, founded in Clinton, Illinois in 1947 by Warren Martin, an elected member of the Illinois State Auctioneer Association Hall of Fame. Warren was joined in 1966 by son Larry Martin, a graduate of Illinois State University. In 1973, Stan Irvin, who attended Southern Illinois University, came aboard. Rob Nord joined Martin Auction in 1990, upon graduating from Missouri Auction School. Representing the third generation, Lucy Nord joined the team in 2007. In June 2008, the fourth generation, Evelyn Nord, graduated from Missouri Auction School and in June 2011, Echo Nord did as well and sold the first time at our June 2011 auction. We are proud and excited to offer our customers the experience and knowledge that comes from four generations in the auction industry.
In 2007 the original facility just south of Clinton was sold and a new one was built across the street on Rt. 51 South, Clinton, Illinois. Now with one of the most modern auction facilities in Illinois, we invite your attendance /consignments to one of the many pre-schedule upcoming events.
Martin Auction Services, offers a full line of mobile auction equipment and are capable of conducting an auction at your site or ours. Services include a full set up and auction day personnel.
